Kids Chore App
The Product Idea: A product that takes the analog method of rewarding kids with stars and points for doing chores and replaces it with an interactive game between parents and kids to improve their behavior all on an iPad.
Why We Cut It: Many similar products already in the market and not a strong relationship to the category among our team.

DE-DE is a product development studio driven by a unique combination of marketers and engineers who build early stage products and grow them into sustainable businesses. Our ideas blend storytelling, branding and distribution with engineering, design and data to create product experiences that are technically and visually compelling. Our aim is to bring a touch of humanity to technology.

Hashem Bajwa
Hashem built his career at the intersection of technology & marketing. Prior to founding DE-DE, he led digital at independent marketing company Droga5 and began his career in communications at the United Nations.
Robert Spychala
Robert has worked for over ten years in technical roles at industry-leading companies such as MLB.com, Barnes & Noble's Nook and R/GA.
David Cascino
Dave co-founded AI Capital, a high frequency trading platform for executing arbitrage algorithms. He then led engineering at adaptive learning startup Knewton before joining DE-DE.
HJ Kwon
HJ took a scenic route through journalism and advertising before arriving at DE-DE. The most common question he gets is "what does your name stand for?".
He's also our selfdescribed Chief Snapchat Officer
Garland Davis
Garland doesn't play favorites when it comes to code-craft. He feels at home hacking Ruby, Python or anything else that comes his way.
Ted Chang
Ted comes from a visual design background, but isn't afraid to dive into code. He has previous work experience with Williams Sonoma and Xerox.

Heidi Hysell
Heidi has spent over 10 years building products and leading teams around the entertainment technology space - all the way from prototypes and into production. She's worked with agencies, startups and large corporate brands over the past 10 years and has had hands on experience in all parts of the process.

Product Management
No product person is the same. We look for buttoned up product leads that have a combination of real user sensibility, technical understanding, business prowess and design savvy.
Development
